About Us

The Nature Experience Company is a mobile Forest School run by Layla, a qualified level 3 Forest School leader, who visits educational settings to provide Forest School sessions and workshops. We have a multitude of activities available for the learners to explore but the sessions are child-led so we like to follow their own interests.

We offer a service that supports play, exploration, and supported risk-taking. We strive to develop confidence and self-esteem through learner-inspired, hands-on experiences in a natural setting. We teach skills such as using tools, cooking on a fire, learning different knots, as well as supporting children to explore and identify with knowledge from the facilitators and informative resources.

It is often thought that to be able to have Forest School sessions running from your location you need to have a fully established woodland area. We strongly believe that we have the experience and tools to run sessions from most outdoor areas. When you contact us we will arrange to come and visit your site to discuss your options and share ideas. 

We provide everything needed to run the sessions and when cooking and using the fire all dietaries are catered for.
