The Nature Experience Company is a mobile Forest School providing sessions in educational settings.
We are passionate about providing children the opportunity to explore nature first-hand.
Forest School inspires a deep and meaningful connection to the world and an understanding of how the learner fits within it. We create a safe, non-judgemental, nurturing environment that allows them to feel supported when trying new things. We encourage learners to take supported risks with a holistic approach. There are risks in everything we do but we grow by overcoming them, recognising what risks are, and how we can navigate them. Our aim is to support learners to become healthy, resilient, creative, and independent humans.
Face behind the brand
Hello, I’m Layla, founder of The Nature Experience Company. My passion for Forest School sparked from witnessing the skills learnt, joy, and knowledge my own two small humans got from attending Forest Schools sessions.
I have been working within Forest Schools for over eight years and I’m passionate to get children outdoors freely exploring nature. I use a scaffolding approach with the learners which allows them to explore the outdoors safely, providing them with tools to expand their knowledge and learn new skills. I believe the best lessons learnt are through independent exploration.
